Utah Governor Spencer Cox has expressed his regret that he was unable to blame Charlie Kirk’s assassination on an immigrant.
During a press conference on Friday officials identified a person they had in custody as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, saying he had been arrested on Thursday night, some 33 hours after the shooting.
During that press conference the Republican governor said: ““For the last 33 hours, I had been praying that this person (who murdered Charlie Kirk) was from another country.”
