A glass-bottomed walkway has opened along the sheer face of Tianmen mountain in Hunan province, South Central China.
The 100-meter-long glass skywalk is open to hikers seeking a bird’s- eye view of Hunan’s landscape.
Dubbed the “Coiling Dragon Cliff” skywalk, the clear glass walkway overlooks a 984ft drop in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
It runs for 100 metres along the cliff face and looks out on Tianmen Tongtian Avenue, a road which has 99 turns that switch back and forth up the mountainside.
It is the third glass walkway along the mountain and follows the construction of a glass-bottomed suspension bridge spanning a crevasse in Stone Buddha Mountain, Shiniuzhai Geopark, last year.
For the squeamish or those susceptible to vertigo, there is a cable car ride to the top of the mountain.
