Clint Eastwood has slammed Hilary Clinton for “making a lot of dough out of being a politician” and pledging to “follow in Obama’s footsteps” and declared his intention to support Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

What Trump is onto is he’s just saying what’s on his mind. And sometimes it’s not so good. And sometimes it is. I mean, I can understand where he’s coming from, but I don’t always agree with it,” Eastwood told Esquire magazine.

When asked if he had to choose between Trump or Clinton, Eastwood said he preferred Trump.

I’d have to go for Trump … you know, ’cause she’s declared that she’s gonna follow in Obama’s footsteps,” he told Esquire.

There’s been just too much funny business on both sides of the aisle. She’s made a lot of dough out of being a politician.”

Continuing to discuss Clinton, the actor said: “I mean, it’s a tough voice to listen to for four years. It could be a tough one.

The Hollywood icon also railed against political correctness and the young generation.

We’re really in a p***y generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells,” the 86-year-old said.

We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist. Secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up.”

The full interview will be published by Esquire on Wednesday.
