White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt seemed to predict that there would be some shots fired at the WH correspondent’s dinner on Saturday evening.
A viral video of Leavitt mentioning that ‘shots will be fired’ has sparked massive reactions online.
She made the remarks just before the start of the event.
Speaking to the media Leavitt said that Trump’s address would be humorous and engaging, asserting that he “would bring heat”.
She also remarked that there would be “shots fired in the room”, a term used as political jargon for pointed verbal confrontations.
