A new crowd-funded investigative journalism project, ‘Insurge Intelligence’, broke the story recently of how the U.S. intelligence community funded and nurtured Google from inception.
Funded by both the NSA and CIA ,Google was the first of private sector start-ups created to retain ‘information superiority’.
