The caption attached to the photo reads: Green Laser Beam is being used by Israeli soldiers against unarmed Palestinian demonstrators in village north-east of Jerusalem. The laser beam is said to cause confusion and temporary blindness. The long-term health implications is yet unknown.
The Palestine Project was set up last year. It is a non-profit organisation promoting the Palestinian narrative.
As yet, the validity of the photo is not confirmed. But if true, this is obviously a worrying development on the type of weapons being used on unarmed civilians.
