Israel is pushing ahead with a proposal to recruit financially distressed Americans for a ground invasion of Iran by offering student loan and credit card debt forgiveness—a real-life version of the dystopian Netflix series “Squid Game,” in which desperate contestants risk death for a chance at financial freedom.
An article published in the Jerusalem Post, written by AJ Jaff, argues that the United States lacks the manpower for a large-scale ground operation in Iran because nobody wants to fight and die for Israel.
Jaff estimates that a successful ground campaign would require between 750,000 and 1.5 million U.S. troops—a staggering number that dwarfs the current active-duty Army of roughly 452,000 personnel.
To bridge this gap and provide Israel with the cannon fodder it requires, he proposes a cynical “federally administered debt-forgiveness enlistment program,” where young Americans would have their debts discharged after a period of military service. The proposition is simply to buy soldiers with the promise of escaping the predatory economic system that Washington has helped create.
This is the real-life “Squid Game.” Israel caused American prices to skyrocket. Now they want to force debt-crushed Americans to risk their lives for Israel to escape their debts. All to serve a war that is not in America’s interest.
Someone Else’s War
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman rightly warned Americans not to let their children become mercenaries for this “illegal war of choice”. He posed the question that every American should be asking: “Why should your sons and daughters be offered debt forgiveness in exchange for fighting and dying in a war Israel wants continued & expanded?”
This isn’t paranoia—it’s a reflection of reality on the ground. The American people have already made their position clear. A massive 74% of registered voters are against sending U.S. forces into Iran, and a staggering 61% of the public believes this conflict exists primarily to protect foreign interests, not American security.
We are witnessing the “great refusal” of a public that is finally waking up to the fact that they are being sacrificed on the altar of an Israeli empire.
The sentiment has become a rallying cry across social media and even within the military: “I will not die for Israel.”
Meanwhile, the American people are left to pay the price at the pump and the grocery store and petrol pump. The cost of this war is astronomical, and our national debt is set to surge to $39 trillion.
While the political elite in Washington are focused on the next phase of the conflict, the U.S. military is reporting “overwhelming stress” and a “loss of faith in the ranks,” with service members refusing to be “political pawns” in a war they know is wrong.
