Multiple DOJ officials are planning to resign over Comey’s indictment according to MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian.
Former FBI Director James Comey was indicted by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia. Thursday, on charges of giving false statements and obstruction of a congressional proceeding.
Comey’s son-in-law, Troy A. Edwards, Jr., already resigned from his position as a senior national security prosecutor on Thursday night.
TGP reports: Comey will be arraigned on October 9. Former US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald is representing Comey.
James Comey’s son-in-law, Troy Edwards, resigned from the US Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Virginia after Comey was indicted on Thursday evening.
Troy Edwards was a prosecutor on the Oath Keepers January 6 trial.
More Deep State DOJ officials will be self-deporting over Comey’s indictment.
“Many people who work in the Justice Department feel like they can no longer function there and are trying to leave,” MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian said.
