Multiple Earthquakes Hit Oklahoma

Several earthquakes hit Oklahoma on Friday night and Saturday morning, with the largest hitting a 4.2 shaking parts of Kansas.

The largest measured at a 4.2 magnitude just north of Crescent, Okla., shaking parts of Kansas as far north as Hutchinson around 8:20 Saturday morning. Several of you called our newsroom to report feeling the quake in the Wichita area.

According to the USGS, 11 earthquakes struck in five different cities in northern Oklahoma, and three others were recorded around Caldwell, Kan. starting around 4:00 p.m. Friday through 8:20 a.m. Saturday.
