Reform UK leader Nigel Farage is due to attend the World Economic Forum summit in Davos next week for the first time.
Yes that’s right, he is set to join the very same conference that he once described as a ‘jaunt’ for ‘globalists’.
The conference runs between January 19 and January 23 this year and it seems that Farage has decided to attend the event to bolster his international image ahead of the next election.
He has previously said that his party would “reject the influence” of the WEF…….i guess the UK will soon find out.
Back in 2020, he released a video discussing the WEF conference where he said: “What’s happened to us over the course of the last 50 years is we’ve decided nation states don’t matter, we’ve decided national democracy doesn’t matter, because we can decide all of this in ski resorts in Switzerland. Isn’t it wonderful?”
In 2023, Farage described Sir Keir Starmer, (who was at that time the leader of the Labour opposition party) as a “full-on globalist, hanging out with his mates at the WEF”.
