Tim Walz Pardons Illegal Alien Child Rapist Who Argued Pedophilia Is Acceptable in His Culture

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz issued a pardon to an illegal alien pedophile who was found guilty of repeatedly raping a 10-year-old girl. According to the Department of Homeland Security, Gov. Walz pardoned the convicted pedophile to thwart a DHS deportation order and allow the illegal alien to stay in the United States.

DHS says Tou Lue Vang, from Laos, was issued a deportation order immediately after the conviction on first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a 10-year-old girl. The pedophile was set to be deported, but however the pardon has now given him a clean record, granting him a legal avenue to fight deportation.

According to Vang’s conviction documents from the state of Minnesota, in 2004, he repeatedly had penetrative sex with a 10-year-old girl on multiple occasions and forced oral sex upon her during which he ejaculated into her mouth.

He told police “I made a mistake, but this is a minor thing…it’s a cultural thing to marry and have sex with girls as young as 12.” He also said the child should be arrested and she was also at fault.

Vang ultimately took a plea deal to plead guilty to the offense of first degree criminal sexual conduct. The New York Times reports he served no prison time as part of the deal.

Vang was pardoned for the offense last month by the Minnesota Board of Pardons, which is made up of the Minnesota Governor, Attorney General, and Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court. All pardons must be approved by the Governor.

Tou Lue Vang was convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct against a victim under 13 in 2005, according to court records. He applied for a pardon last year and was granted one last month.

DHS is now blasting the decision:

“Governor Tim Walz’s decision to pardon an illegal alien convicted child rapist so he can remain in our country is disgusting,” said Acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.

“These are the criminal illegal aliens he and his Minnesota sanctuary politicians are protecting. Tou Lue Vang lost his legal status following his conviction for repeatedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. Following the conviction, he was placed in removal proceedings and issued a final order of removal by a judge.

“This pardon will take away this child rapist’s qualifying convictions that made him removable from the United States.”
