Tucker Carlson says the U.S. government is actively in contact with dark, supernatural beings—and the truth is so terrifying that the public has been kept in the dark for nearly a century.
The former Fox News host, who has spent months digging into the UFO phenomenon, now claims the government has known about non-human entities since the 1930s. But these aren’t little green men, Carlson warns—they are “spiritual beings” with a deeply disturbing agenda, and he refuses to even share the full details with his own family.
“The public can’t deal with it,” Carlson said this week. “It’s too far out. The implications are too profound.”
According to Carlson, these entities operate outside the laws of science, have been here for a very long time, and are hiding beneath the ocean and underground. The spiritual component, he says, is “really, really, really dark”—so dark that he has stopped investigating altogether.
“I’ve stopped being curious about this because I don’t want to know anymore,” he admitted.
In recent interviews and podcast appearances, Carlson has been unusually candid about what he’s learned from what he describes as credible sources with firsthand knowledge.
“I feel comfortable saying this as a fact. These are real, whatever they are, and they’re not human, and the government has known that for a long time—possibly going back to the 1930s at least,” Carlson said during a recent appearance . He added: “The public can’t deal with it. It’s too far out. The implications are too profound.”
The former Fox News host has been particularly adamant that the entities aren’t simply extraterrestrial in the traditional sense. During his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Carlson described them as “spiritual beings” that don’t “behave according to the laws of science”. He claims there’s extensive evidence they’ve been here for a long time, particularly under the ocean and underground.
“There’s a ton of evidence that they’re under the ocean and under the ground,” Carlson told Rogan. “They’ve been here for a long time”.
‘So Radical’ He Won’t Share Details With Family
Perhaps most striking is Carlson’s admission that the information he’s uncovered is so disturbing he won’t even share it with his family.
“There is some stuff, if it’s true, and I’m kind of thinking it may be true, that is so radical, we don’t want to tell the people we love most about it,” Carlson said, according to social media posts citing his remarks .
In a separate interview, Carlson was even more explicit about his decision to stop digging: “I’ve stopped being curious about this because I don’t want to know anymore” .
The ‘Really, Really Dark’ Spiritual Component
Carlson has repeatedly stressed that the spiritual dimension of the phenomenon is what disturbs him most. He told the Redacted podcast that there’s a “spiritual component” he doesn’t fully understand, and that parts of the story are “really, really, really dark”.
“There are parts of that story that I do not understand at all that are really, really, really dark… That story bothers me,” he said .
His comments echo those of former intelligence official David Grusch, who testified before Congress that the U.S. has likely been aware of “non-human” activity since the 1930s .
The Pentagon has denied such claims, with Defense Department spokeswoman Sue Gough stating investigators haven’t found “any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed” .
A Personal Demonic Encounter
Carlson’s interest in the spiritual dimension appears to be deeply personal. He has publicly claimed that he was physically attacked by a demonic force in his sleep, waking up with four bleeding claw marks on his body—an incident he described as happening on February 20, 2023 .
“I woke up, and I couldn’t breathe, and I thought I was going to suffocate,” Carlson recounted. After inspecting himself, he found “four claw marks on either side underneath my arms and on my left shoulder. And they’re bleeding” .
Despite the severity of his claims, Carlson reportedly refused to undergo an exorcism offered through a mutual friend who connected him with two exorcists. According to writer Rod Dreher, Carlson replied: “Exorcism seems like witchcraft” and “I’m too Protestant for that”.
