A gunman opened fire on a TV news crew conducting a live broadcast from a shopping center in Virginia on Wednesday morning.
WDBJ confirmed that reporter Allison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were killed in the shooting.

Nearby Bedford County schools are currently on lockdown as police search for the shooter who is believed to be a disgruntled ex-employee.
Bedford, Botetourt and Roanoke County schools are all on partial lockdown (students not allowed outdoors).
