Rueben Foster, the NFL star who spent this season taking a knee in protest of police violence, was just arrested for being violent at home.

On Sunday, cops were called to the home of police-protesting NFL kneeler Reuben Foster and they immediately wiped the smirk off of his cocky, entitled face and threw him in the county jail.

The guy who spent this season taking a knee in protest of police violence was just arrested for being violent at home.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was one of the first NFL players to start kneeling during the national anthem back in September. According to Foster, he was “taking a stand” by kneeling during the anthem, in order to protest police violence against innocent victims.

The same police who Foster hates so much were called to his home to settle a domestic violence dispute. The incident ended in Foster’s arrest on charges related to domestic violence, possession of an assault weapon and threats.

In a statement, police said they were called “in regards to a welfare check and possible disturbance call for service.” After an initial investigation, police arrested Foster and booked him at the county jail. [Source: IJR]

His bail has been set at $75,000, according to ESPN.

The irony runs deep with this one. Perhaps Foster was too busy accusing the police of being racist to do a little self-examination.
