President Trump on Tuesday welcomed Alan Dershowitz into the Republican Party, praising Epstein’s attorney as “highly respected”—a move that comes after Trump purged former allies including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tucker Carlson, and Alex Jones, from the GOP and his MAGA coalition.
Dershowitz left the Democratic Party earlier this year after accusing them of being insufficiently subservient to Israel.

His legal advocacy is no less shameful, particularly his infamous argument that statutory rape laws are “outdated.” He has also campaigned publicly to lower the age of consent in the United States.
In April, Dershowitz took the leap to become a Republican (despite staunchly supporting abortion and mass immigration):
“[I realized] I couldn’t have any influence on either party as an independent,” Dershowitz told Zev Brenner back in April.
“[The Democrats] are the most anti-Israel, most anti-Semitic, most pro-terrorist, most anti-American party in modern American history!”
