Explosive new revelations from the DoJ’s latest Jeffrey Epstein release have unmasked LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman as a key figure deeply entangled in Epsetin’s elite pedophile ring—visiting Epstein’s properties on multiple occasions, long after his 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a minor.
Records show Hoffman exchanged over 1,700 emails with Epstein between 2014 and 2018—well after Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea to soliciting prostitution from a minor.
These communications include discussions of visits to Epstein’s properties, gift exchanges, code words, and personal invitations. In one 2015 email exchange, Epstein invited Hoffman to “play” at his private island, Little St. James, or his Zorro Ranch in New Mexico.

A particularly scrutinized 2014 email from Hoffman, dated Christmas Eve, referenced sending gifts to Epstein’s New York townhouse: “ice cream…for the girls” along with “something that may strike your funny bone for the island,” described in some reports as a metal sculpture.

The phrase “ice cream for the girls” has drawn intense scrutiny as potential coded language, with critics including Elon Musk questioning its meaning in light of Epstein’s crimes involving underage girls.
Hoffman has not publicly clarified the reference, and spokespeople did not respond to media inquiries at the time.Additional messages show Hoffman expressing regret over a missed opportunity to deliver a present, replying “likewise” to Epstein’s disappointment and noting it could wait “for the next opportunity.”
Epstein, in turn, referred to Hoffman as a “very close friend” in some correspondence and expressed missing their interactions.
Elon Musk reacted to the file disclosures and investigative threads by calling for a full investigation into Hoffman.
Musk posted: “Hoffman should be investigated.”
In sharp exchanges, Musk accused Hoffman directly: “Liar, you are guilty of dark deeds and haven’t been cleared of anything. You stayed at Epstein’s island, Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico and Epstein’s house in New York. You offered to help him with PR. You gave him gifts… Maybe if it was only one stay over, you could claim it was a mistake. Maybe. But there is NO possible explanation for the second time, let alone the third time. As the record shows, you were an eager repeat customer.”
Musk contrasted his own refusal of Epstein’s invitations: “Epstein hounded me relentlessly to go to his pedo island, and I always declined. Not you though. You actually went.”
Hoffman has expressed regret over the associations, attributing them primarily to MIT fundraising efforts and acknowledging he helped repair Epstein’s reputation by participating. He has disputed some claims about the frequency of meetings and denied certain visits, while Musk has shared earlier Epstein emails referencing Hoffman’s island presence to bolster his criticisms.
As a major Democratic donor—having contributed tens of millions to party causes and anti-Trump efforts—Hoffman’s Epstein connections have fueled broader scrutiny of elite networks tied to the Democrat party elite.
