Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Defends continues to defend her claim that she never noticed Joe Biden’s mental decline.
During an appearance on CBS Mornings Monday Jean-Pierre struggled to explain why she never saw anything to suggest that Joe Biden’s mental health was in decline, despite reports describing how the ex-president’s cognitive faculties were quickly fading during his tenure.
Even in her book, Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines, Jean-Pierre argued that 82 year old Biden, 82, always seemed sharp as a tack while in her presence.

InfoWars reports: “…The apparent decline of Joe Biden, you said you’re a member of the inner circle and you never saw the decline,” host Gayle King told Jean-Pierre. “And after that, I wrote, how, you even write Karine, that you were on the plane with him going to the debate and you didn’t see anything. It’s so hard to understand.”

Jean-Pierre, who abandoned the Democrat Party after Biden lost the 2024 election, stammered as she tried to explain her lapse in perception.
“I want everybody to know that I take this question incredibly seriously. I do,” she told interviewers. “I was his White House press secretary, which means I had a role that saw him practically every day and traveled with him for more than 95%.”
“We’ve always said, we’re not going to say, ‘Oh, he didn’t age.’ He aged and he poked fun at it. We always owned up and with age comes what happens when you get older,” she said.
“Which is what?” one interviewer asked, in a question that went ignored by Jean-Pierre.
“But when we talk about the mental acuity and again, I take this very, very seriously, I never saw anyone who wasn’t there. I saw someone who was always engaged. I saw someone who understood policy pushed us on the policy and also understood history.”
Since Biden was kicked out of office, several reports have surfaced claiming the outgoing president’s declining mental faculties were noticeable.
After Special Counsel Robert Hur refused to charge Biden, citing his poor memory, the Wall Street Journal following the election published an exposé describing how his “inner circle” worked to keep him insulated, scheduled meetings around his “good and bad days” and enlisted a speech coach to help with his “fading warble.”
Original Sin, a book by CNN propagandist Jake Tapper, noted Biden’s dementia he couldn’t recognize longtime friend and actor George Clooney, and claimed he was one fall away from requiring a wheelchair.
The ex-president’s questionable cognitive state prompted an exposé by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project examining Biden’s use of an autopen machine to sign presidential documents, raising questions over who controlled the autopen.
Considering numerous reports that many in Biden’s orbit were aware he was a walking vegetable, Jean-Pierre’s claims she never saw any signs of mental decline are highly suspect and should be taken with a huge grain of salt.
