Dr. YoungHoon Kim, officially recognized as the individual with the highest recorded IQ in history, has publicly affirmed his belief in Jesus Christ, declaring Christ to be “God, the way and the truth and the life.”
The statement was posted to Kim’s official X account shortly after his confirmation as the current holder of the world’s highest IQ.
“As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life,” Kim wrote.

Kim’s IQ has been independently verified at an astonishing 276 by leading international organizations, including the Official World Record, the World Memory Championships, and the World Memory Sports Council (WMSC)—all of which, according to a press release, operate in official partnership with Guinness World Records.

As of 2025, Dr. Kim serves as Vice-President of both the World Memory Championships and the WMSC. These organizations were co-founded by Tony Buzan, inventor of the Mind Map, and Raymond Keene, British chess grandmaster.
Together, these competitions have produced many of the world’s top cognitive performers, including Dr. Demis Hassabis, the 2024 Nobel Prize laureate.
The bodies that validated Kim’s IQ are internationally respected for rigorous testing of cognitive and memory performance. Kim’s score of 276 places him at the very top of all known intelligence measurements worldwide.
