Performance artist Marina Abramović has never been shy about her occult leanings. But her latest admission, relayed through a story about a shaman she met in Finland, should raise alarm bells for anyone paying attention.
Abramović recounts that the shaman told her: “The best thing happening on the planet right now is Donald Trump… because he’s so irrational… he’s so different… he’s the magician who is waking us up.” In other words, Trump is not simply a political figure to her world of mystics and occultists—he is viewed as a magician of the highest order, sowing chaos through which a new order will eventually be found.
That word “magician” is key. In the esoteric traditions Abramović openly flirts with, the magician is not merely an entertainer, but a figure of transformation, disruption, and initiation. They bring chaos so that a new reality may emerge.
And here, Abramović herself acknowledges that this is how her Satanic circle interprets Trump’s role.
Abramović’s Satanic Ties
It should not be forgotten that Marina Abramović is widely regarded as a Satanist, or at the very least someone who operates within the dark side of the occult.
Her so-called “performance art” is drenched in blood symbolism, ritualistic imagery, and references to sacrifice.

Abramović’s ties go deeper. She was friendly with the Brazilian cult leader and “faith healer” João Teixeira de Faria, better known as John of God—later convicted of heinous crimes including sex trafficking of babies and ritual abuse.
Abramović, like many other celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Naomi Campbell, spent time with him and promoted him before his rape and baby factories were exposed.
Why This Matters
If Abramović and her fellow occultists see Trump as a magician, it means they see his chaotic presidency not as random or foolish, but as part of a transformative ritual—a tearing down of the old world order to make way for the new.
And if this is how the elites of her circles interpret Trump, it raises troubling questions about the deeper spiritual battle playing out behind the political stage.
