Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that it is antisemitic for people to criticize the anal rape of Palestinian prisoners as exposed in an August 2024 video leak.
IDF soldiers engaged in mass anal rape which was caught on camera, then leaked to Israel’s Channel 12 in August 2024.
Infowars.com reports: “[The anal rape video] caused enormous reputational damage to Israel, to the IDF, and to our soldiers,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu and Israel have been embroiled in scandals ranging from war crimes to all-out genocide since the October 7th stand down. According to Netanyahu however, the anal rape tops them all.

“It is perhaps the most serious public relations attack Israel has experienced since its founding — I cannot recall one so concentrated and intense,” Netanyahu said. “This requires an independent and impartial inquiry, and I expect that such an investigation will indeed take place.”
The Times Of Israel detailed the legal and civil aftermath of the incident:
On Friday, military advocate general Maj. Gen. Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi admitted to approving the leak of the video and resigned from her position.
The leak followed the arrest of 10 IDF reservists suspected of involvement in the abuse, which triggered riots by right-wing activists and demonstrators — including serving coalition ministers and MKs — at the base and at the military court where the suspects were taken.
Five soldiers were indicted in February for abusing the Palestinian security prisoner after he was brought to the detention facility in July 2024. The assault left him with severe injuries, including broken ribs and a tear in his rectum.
Infowars detailed Israeli media figures condoning and even seemingly endorsing the anal rape:
An Israeli media pundit named Yehuda Schlesinger told a panel he doesn’t “give a rat’s ass” about the IDF raping Palestinian hostages.
“The only problem for me here is that it’s not a regulated policy of the state to abuse the detainees… They deserve it, and it’s great revenge that we need to give them.”
He also claimed raping prisoners could “serve us a little more as a deterrent” and pushed the narrative that Hamas tied 30 Israeli women to trees, raped and killed them in the infamous October 7th attack.
There is no proof any of the women were molested during the October terrorist assault.
Schlesinger continued, “It’s just a shame we don’t do it in an institutionalized way, as part of regulations for torture of prisoners.”
