A Texas real estate dynasty that secretly purchased Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in 2023 is now invested in a biotechnology company that harvests cardiac cells from newborns, while the family’s son holds a position inside Donald Trump’s White House.
Russell Huffines has worked in the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs since June 2025. The office manages the relationship between the president and federal agencies—including those that would oversee any investigation of Zorro Ranch.
The family—led by Dallas multimillionaire and Texas Comptroller candidate Don Huffines—bought the 7,500-acre New Mexico property through an anonymous LLC, fought to keep their identities hidden, and began massive excavations on land where witnesses say at least two girls were raped, murdered, and buried at Epstein’s direction.

The family’s venture capital firm, HEST Investments, led a $1.8 million investment in Secretome Therapeutics in September 2024. The company develops therapies from neonatal cardiac progenitor cells—harvested from the hearts of newborns under thirty days old.

Don Huffines announced the investment personally, saying it “aligns perfectly with our vision of driving innovation and changing the perspective of how we advance human health.”
Huffines didn’t specify whose health is being advanced, however it is clear he was talking about the Epstein class who have profited from, and feasted upon, the bodies of children for decades.
The Ranch
Zorro Ranch was the largest of Epstein’s properties and the only one never searched or investigated. The federal government under Trump intervened to halt state investigations in 2019, and then-New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas complied.
Witnesses in DOJ files allege at least two “foreign girls” were raped and murdered at Epstein’s direction and buried in the ranch’s hills.
One girl was imprisoned at the ranch, impregnated by Epstein multiple times, and forced to hand her newborn to Ghislaine Maxwell at birth, according to the files.
Epstein told multiple sources he planned to use the ranch to impregnate dozens of women at a time to “seed the human race” with his genetics.
The Secret Purchase
Don Huffines bought the ranch through an anonymous LLC. His wife, Mary Catherine, signed as trustee. His son Colin was listed as manager of the entity until his name quietly disappeared from public filings earlier this year.
The family’s identity was exposed when Clara Bates, a reporter at the Santa Fe New Mexican, found Mary Catherine’s name on page 78 of an 87-page tax protest document.
The family claimed they intended to develop the property into a Christian retreat. No paper trail supports that claim.
The Website Scrubbing
After news broke that the Huffines owned the ranch, HEST Investments’ website was scrubbed from Google search results.
The team page—which listed Russell Huffines as co-running the company—was deleted.
The Biotech Investment
Secretome Therapeutics states its cells are sourced from ethically consented neonatal cardiac tissue collected during medically necessary surgeries in full-term newborns treated for congenital heart defects. The company says it does not use embryonic stem cells or tissue from elective terminations.
There are only three scientists in the world who specialize in this research. One of them, Eric Olsen, appears twice in the Epstein files.
Epstein’s documented scientific obsessions included biological manipulation of human reproduction, harvesting and preservation of biological material, and what he called “improving the human species.” He funded scientists working at the intersection of genetics, longevity, and human enhancement.
The company’s name—Secretome—is a homophone for “Secret Home.”
The Excavations
Aerial photographs from February showed the ranch’s helipad and surrounding grounds had been extensively excavated, leaving a deep, open scar in the earth.
State and county officials ordered the Huffines to halt construction after determining work had begun on a new front gate with concrete turrets without proper permits.
The Memorial
A makeshift memorial at the ranch’s entrance—bearing crosses and photographs of Epstein’s known victims—was removed this week by persons unknown.
Under New Mexico law, destroying a roadside memorial is a criminal offense.
The Huffines family bought Epstein’s ranch in secret. They scrubbed their website. They removed the memorial. They are excavating ground where girls are allegedly buried. Their son works in the White House. And their investment firm is funding a company that harvests newborn baby hearts for sale.
