Swimming Legend Makes Racist Remark On Air & Apologizes Later

Swimming Legend Dawn Fraser won the 100m freestyle in three consecutive Olympics for Australia.

The former politician spoke out about the recent defeats of Australian tennis players at Wimbledon. She said that the two promising Australian tennis players, Nick Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic should go back to their own country: “Go back to where their fathers or their parents came from….we don’t need them here if that’s how they are going to behave…we must set an example for the younger children who are playing all these sports.”

Nick Kyrgios was defeated in the last 16 of the Wimbledon tennis tournament amid accusations of tanking out and giving up on his opponent. His fellow Australian tennis player Bernard Tomic was dropped from representing Australia in the upcoming Davies Cup. Tomic had earlier accused the Australian Tennis authorities of neglecting him after he had a hip operation. He was knocked out of the Wimbledon tournament in an easy defeat to Novak Djokovic.
Both men are descended from parents from overseas. They both have let down Australian tennis authorities by their recent defeats in Wimbledon plus their remarks and behaviour on and off court. Both men are young, flamboyant and anti authority and they also call it as they see it.
