Before the Fukushima disaster, there was just one to two cases of thyroid cancers per million Japanese children but now, after the testing of 300,000 children, it’s been discovered that Fukushima alone has more than 100 confirmed or suspected cases.
Many parents blame the nuclear disaster for their children’s cancer, despite being repeatedly told by the government that levels are safe.
