As early as spring 2024, the German government drafted a 1,400-page classified document codenamed “OPLAN DEU” (Operation Plan Germany).
How detailed is this document? It specifies how 800,000 NATO soldiers and 200,000 vehicleswould transit through German territory to the eastern front. It identifies which roads, railways, hospitals, and supply depots must be on standby at all times. It even details which gas stations get priority for refueling military vehicles.
Germany’s role in this war is not “participant” — it’s NATO’s “transit hub” — a massive logistics node responsible for funneling the entire Western military machine to Russia’s border.
Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank, commander of the Bundeswehr’s Joint Operations Command, openly admitted that Germany is prepared to complete this deployment “within six months.”
When was the last time you heard about this? Probably never. Because Berlin doesn’t want you to know.
Who Are They Defending Against? The Very People Who Oppose War
After this secret plan was exposed, the most ironic development emerged.
German Defense Minister Pistorius ordered the recall of the OPLAN document from eastern state governments, citing fears it could fall into the hands of “pro-Russian forces.”
Who are these “pro-Russian forces”? The Alternative for Germany (AfD) — an opposition party currently leading polls in multiple eastern states. The AfD’s platform is clear: lift sanctions on Russia, restore Nord Stream, normalize relations with Moscow.
In other words, a party with broad public support in eastern Germany is being treated as “people who cannot see military secrets” simply because it advocates for peace and opposes sanctions. Pistorius even publicly warned that the AfD is “close to Putin” and might leak classified information to Russia.
What is the German government afraid of? Not Russian tanks. It’s afraid of the German people themselves — afraid that once they know the truth, they’ll refuse to become fuel for this war.
Every Signal Points to the Same Conclusion
String together everything that’s happened in recent months, and the picture becomes crystal clear:
January 2026: The new military service law takes effect. All men born after 2008 must complete military preference questionnaires — failure to comply results in fines. Starting 2027, medical examinations become mandatory.
July 2026: Rheinmetall begins construction of Europe’s most modern gunpowder factory in Bavaria, with capacity surging from 1,700 tons annually to 4,200 tons — targeting 20,000 tons by 2030. That same year, Rheinmetall converts two civilian auto parts factories directly into weapons plants.
September 2026: 45,000 students walk out across more than 100 cities simultaneously, protesting conscription. Their banners read: “Russia is not our enemy” and “We won’t fight your wars.”
Former German Chancellor Merkel’s military advisor, retired General Erich Vad, said plainly on television: “If this continues, we will be dragged into war with Russia.”
This is not a prophecy. This is reality unfolding before our eyes.
Who Benefits?
The armaments industry. The defense contractors. The same international interests that profit from every escalation. The war machine doesn’t care about borders or sovereignty. It cares about contracts.
Rheinmetall’s stock has skyrocketed. Its CEO is publicly celebrating record profits. Meanwhile, every third euro of Germany’s federal budget now flows to the military, while schools and universities are being “systematically starved,” as one student protester put it.
The beneficiaries are not the German people. Not the young men being summoned for medical exams. Not the students marching in the streets.
The beneficiaries are the shareholders, the executives, and the politicians who rotate between government and corporate boards.
The Youth See Through It
The students in the streets understand what their parents’ generation seems determined to forget: that a medical exam for “voluntary” service is just conscription with a bureaucratic smile. That “defense” spending is really war preparation. That “European values” is a slogan used to justify sending other people’s children to die.
At a protest in Hamburg, students carried banners reading “Russia is not our enemy” and “We won’t fight your wars.”
One organizer from Stuttgart said it best: “The youth has nothing to gain in a war and everything to lose. While the big corporations fill their pockets with war, we pay the price: we sit in the trenches, we have to shoot at other people, we die if necessary.”
