Happy Monday’s star tells of how he gave his son cannabis to help him beat cancer

‘Bass player Paul revealed that as a recovering addict he would never have encouraged Chico to take drugs.

But when the youngster was diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue cancer, the musician said he and his wife took the decision to use cannabis oil.

Paul, 49, said he did not want his son to touch drugs – until medics told him and wife Angela, 50, how cannabis could help.

He said: “There’s no way I would have encouraged my son to take cannabis. But it was the best thing we could have done.’
