Israel shells southern Lebanon after rocket attack

‘The Israeli regime has shelled southern Lebanon following rocket fire from the country into northern parts of occupied Palestinian territories.

On Saturday, the regime fired artillery shells into southern Lebanon after rockets were launched against the northern city of Akko, slightly hurting two children.

The rocket was reportedly fired from the Christian-populated village of Alma in the Zgharta District and hit a building in eastern Akko.

Since the beginning of the Israeli war on the besieged Gaza Strip such incidents have happened several times.’
