Dr. Peter Hotez—a close associate of Bill Gates and the WHO’s Tedros Ghebreyesus—was recently caught on camera telling a woman suffering from repeated COVID reinfections that it was her own fault for skipping boosters.
In a now-viral moment, Hotez doubled down on the idea that failing to follow the recommended booster schedule is what leads to reinfection, further reinforcing the establishment lie that COVID-19 vaccines are effective at stopping transmission.
Hotez is also on record calling for police forces and the military to be deployed as part of an effort to deal with what the pharmaceutical elite are now calling “anti-vaccine aggression.”

For those wondering why a public health official would still be pushing the ineffective and harmful boosters in 2025, it’s worth following the money.
Hotez’s research center at Baylor College of Medicine has received significant financial support over the years, including millions in grants from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s NIH/NIAID and a $15 million award from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
These connections have raised questions among critics about the independence and objectivity of Hotez’s public health messaging—particularly as he continues to advocate for widespread and ongoing booster uptake even in light of evidence they should be avoided at all costs.
While COVID boosters were never formally marketed as perfect shields against infection, public messaging—including statements by Hotez and other officials—misleadingly gave that impression.
Shockingly, this deceptive framing continues in 2025 even though multiple studies and real-world data show that breakthrough infections occur frequently, even in highly vaccinated populations.
In several heavily boosted countries, “uncontrolled spread” occurred as Omicron and other immune-evasive variants rendered much of the initial vaccine protection less effective. Natural immunity and other mitigating strategies were often ignored or downplayed in favor of a narrow pharmaceutical approach.
By placing blame on individuals for their reinfections, Hotez minimizes the growing concern over rare but serious vaccine-related adverse effects—such as myocarditis, pericarditis, cardiac arrests, and stroke.
Patients who experienced severe reactions post-vaccination have reported being dismissed or ignored by the same institutions that aggressively promoted the shots.
Critics argue that instead of doubling down on outdated talking points and moralizing about booster compliance, public health leaders should promote informed choice, scientific humility, and honest dialogue about both the benefits and limitations of the COVID vaccines.
