The Jeffrey Epstein files held by the DOJ and FBI are a “hoax and a set up” according to President Donald Trump who claims the Biden administration “ran” the files and planted damning evidence to frame him and destroy his presidency.
Speaking to reporters in Scotland alongside UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump accused figures including James Comey, Merrick Garland, and President Joe Biden of manipulating the files, labeling them “the worst scum on Earth”
According to Trump, the controversy is a “hoax built up way beyond proportion.” The president went on to claim “if they had anything, I assume they would have released it.”

Trump also renewed his attacks on former President Bill Clinton and ex-Harvard president Larry Summers, claiming Clinton visited Epstein’s island “28 times,” while insisting he himself “never had the privilege of going to his island.”
