US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee believes that Jews are God’s chosen people and that they are the foundation of all morality.
Huckabee received standing ovations from Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and more following his speech at the opening ceremony of a historical site in Jerusalem last week.
He claimed that Jewish people are God’s chosen people and Jerusalem is their “undivided, undisputable, indigenous capital from eternity.”
“It was 4,000 years ago here in this city, on Mount Moriah, where God chose His people” he said

Huchabee also praised President Trump for keeping his promise and moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, noting that while others waited 20 years, the Jewish people waited 2,000 years.
He was speaking at the opening ceremony of the “Pilgrimage Road”, a tunnel excavated under Palestinian homes next to Jerusalem’s old City, and took place at the City of David,
The city is a biblical tourism site run by a settler organization, in the occupied Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan.
