A 90-year-old World War II veteran Arnold Abbot was arrested for feeding the homeless in Florida last month.
He is still facing 60 days in jail and a 500 dollar fine, but after protests and a massive backlash he’s achieved a small victory.
It is no longer illegal to feed homeless people in public places in Fort Lauderdale.
