A cow got his head stuck in a hollow tree while foraging for food in Cornwall.

A bullock had his head jammed in the hollow of a tree while traversing the grounds of a National Trust site. The young animal was looking inside a tree when he got trapped by his own head. The tree is in the grounds of the National Trust site, Trelissick House in Cornwall.

This is the second time an animal has managed to get trapped by the same tree. Three days earlier another cow had a lucky escape after being freed from the same spot.

CryptoWorld reports:

The animals were found wedged at Trelissick House in Cornwall.

During the first incident last Friday, staff on the estate spent half an hour trying to find a way to free the bullock before deciding to chisel away some branches to release its ear.

In the second incident, which happened on Tuesday, a cow did exactly the same thing and was again freed by staff.

The National Trust has now fenced off the tree to stop the cattle from doing it again.
