For decades, the mainstream scientific establishment has laughed off the idea of Nibiru—the fabled “Planet of the Crossing” from ancient Sumerian texts. They called it pseudoscience. They called it a hoax. They told us there was nothing out there but cold, empty space.
But now, a bombshell new study quietly published in an obscure corner of the astronomical community has conspiracy researchers buzzing. And the implications are staggering.
According to a report from BBC Sky at Night Magazine, researchers at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan claim to have found the first direct evidence of a mysterious ninth planet lurking in the far reaches of our Solar System—a planet that matches the orbital characteristics of the legendary Nibiru.

The Smoking Gun
The study, led by PhD candidate Terry Long Phan, analyzed data from two infrared space telescopes—IRAS (launched in 1983) and AKARI (launched in 2006). By comparing the two datasets, Phan’s team identified a faint infrared source that had moved across the sky over 23 years.

The movement? Roughly 47.5 arcminutes—about one and a half times the width of the full Moon.
That’s a slow drift. A very slow drift. Which means whatever this object is, it’s incredibly far away. Scientists estimate it’s sitting at around 300 Astronomical Units—that’s 300 times the distance from Earth to the Sun.
Mainstream astronomers are cautiously calling this “Planet 9,” a hypothetical world they’ve been chasing for years. But those of us who’ve done the research know it by another name.
Nibiru.

Why This Changes Everything
Here’s what the mainstream media won’t tell you: The ancient Sumerians—one of the oldest known civilizations—documented a planet they called Nibiru, a “great celestial body” on a highly elliptical orbit. They claimed it passes through our inner Solar System roughly every 3,600 years, bringing with it catastrophic upheaval.
Zecharia Sitchin, the controversial scholar who translated Sumerian tablets, argued that Nibiru was home to the Anunnaki—beings who allegedly genetically engineered humanity. The establishment ridiculed him. They said the Sumerians were just describing Venus or Mars.
But now, with a Neptune-sized planet potentially confirmed at 300 AU on an elongated orbit, the Sumerian descriptions suddenly don’t sound so crazy.
The Math Lines Up
Let’s look at the numbers:
- Nibiru’s alleged orbit: Highly elliptical, coming in from the outer Solar System.
- Planet 9’s calculated orbit: Elliptical, with a perihelion of around 300 AU.
- Nibiru’s described appearance: Dark, faint, difficult to see.
- Planet 9’s observed appearance: Only detectable in infrared; 10,000 times fainter than Neptune in visible light.
Coincidence? The conspiracy community doesn’t think so.
The Silence from Above
Notice how quickly the scientific establishment has tried to downplay this discovery. The article itself admits “it’s very early days” and calls for “follow-up observations.” They’re already hedging their bets.
Why? Because if this object is confirmed, it raises uncomfortable questions:
- Why did it take until 2026 to find this? IRAS data has been available since the 1980s. Were certain observations suppressed?
- What else is out there? If a Neptune-sized planet has been hiding in plain sight, what else haven’t they told us about?
- The timeline. If this is Nibiru, and if the 3,600-year cycle holds, where are we in that timeline? Some researchers claim we’re overdue for a return.
The Red Flags They’re Ignoring
The official narrative is that this is just a “statistical candidate” found by sifting through old data. They want you to believe it’s probably just noise, a glitch, a cosmic artifact.
But ask yourself: Why would two separate infrared surveys, conducted 23 years apart, both detect the same moving anomaly? Random noise doesn’t behave like that. This is a pattern. This is data.
And data doesn’t lie—but people do.

What They’re Not Telling You
Phan’s study found 13 candidate pairs before narrowing it down to one. What happened to the other 12? Were they dismissed too quickly? Could some of them be additional objects—perhaps even the Anunnaki’s other celestial waypoints?
The article mentions that follow-up observations are needed using the DECam telescope in Chile. But will those observations be made public? Or will they disappear into a classified vault like so many other “anomalous” discoveries?
Prepare Yourself
Whether you call it Planet 9, Nibiru, or simply “The Object,” something is out there. Something massive. Something on a very long, very deliberate journey through the outer darkness.
The question isn’t whether the truth will come out. The question is: Will you be ready when it does?
