Bill Gates ‘Predicts’ AI Will Trigger Deadly Pandemic ‘Fifty Times Worse Than COVID’

Fact checked by The People's Voice Community

Globalist health czar Bill Gates predicted that AI will cause a pandemic deadlier than COVID-19, while speaking at the Financial Times’ Future of AI Summit.

According to Gates, an AI-driven biosecurity disaster could be “50 times more scarier” than a naturally occurring pandemic. He says frontier AI models are lowering the technical barriers to engineering pathogens, that synthesizing viruses has become easier, and that AI could enable individuals or non-state groups to overcome the technical hurdles involved.

Coming from Bill Gates, this is more of a threat than a warning.

This is the same Bill Gates whose foundation funded gain-of-function research at labs around the world—the kind of work that makes viruses more transmissible and lethal. The same Gates who planned for the coming pandemic before it arrived, then emerged as the most powerful unelected figure shaping the global response. This is the same Gates who made a fortune from mRNA vaccines, before cashing out while billions of people were still pumping the poison into their arms.

Now he’s warning about AI-designed pathogens and demanding that any model capable of helping design novel molecules be “closely monitored.” Notice what worries him most: that open-source models could provide harmful guidance “without sending alerts to the parent company.” His real concern is losing surveillance capability—not the information itself.

He also complains that the US rejected international AI guidelines, including a G20 initiative it dismissed as a “globalist scheme.” Gates wants binding global rules enforced by the same transnational class that pushed lockdowns and mandates during COVID. He’s frustrated that America won’t sign on.

The pattern is consistent. Every crisis—real or predicted—becomes justification for more control, more monitoring, more authority for people like Bill Gates. He warned of a pandemic. One came. He funded research that made it more plausible. He shaped the response. Now he’s warning of an AI pandemic while complaining that open-source models can’t be monitored and global bodies can’t enforce rules.

If you believe Gates helped create the conditions for COVID-19, read his new warnings with extreme skepticism. He’s not a neutral observer. He’s an interested party advocating for the very centralized, unaccountable control he now says is necessary to stop the next catastrophe.

The question isn’t whether AI poses risks. It’s who gets to decide what to do about it—and why we should trust the people who helped create the last disaster to manage the next one.
