United Airlines pilot charged with running brothel

A pilot for United Airlines has been charged with running a group of Texas brothels, The Dallas Morning News reports:

Bruce Wayne Wallis, 51, is accused of charging prostitutes $400 a week to work out of about a half-dozen locations, according to the Houston Chronicle.

He has been charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution and engaging in criminal activity

Assistant Harris County District Attorney Lester Blizzard said that Wallis’ criminal operation was “massive.”

United Airlines officials said that they are cooperating with officials investigating the pilot and that Wallis has been removed from flying duties.
