FBI Director Kash Patel’s adult website account has gone viral, after Iranian hackers leaked his personal email along with a burner username that was used to comment on pornographic videos.
The Iranian government-linked collective published hundreds of emails, personal photos, and a resume from Patel’s Gmail account on Friday.
Among the leaked details was an alias, “spiderkash,” that Patel used with a burner email. Investigators searched for exact matches for that handle across the internet and found a profile on XVideos, a pornography website.

Spiderkash created its porn account on January 5, 2020 to review and leave comments on adult videos.

While officials confirmed the breach of Patel’s email account, no official statement has confirmed or denied the “spiderkash” porn connection.

Nevertheless, screenshots spread across X within hours, racking up millions of views and the profile soon became restricted.
How the Iranian hack opened the door
The controversy began on March 27, when the Handala Hack Team claimed it had successfully breached Patel’s personal Gmail account. The group released a batch of materials online, including emails, older photos, and background documents.
Officials, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, acknowledged the breach. They clarified that the exposed data was personal and mostly dated, with no classified or government sensitive material involved. But what could have remained a routine cybersecurity story quickly took a very different turn.
The ‘spiderkash’ username raised suspicions
Among the leaked details was an email alias that included the name “spiderkash.” That single detail became the turning point. Redditors and social media users immediately began checking whether the same username existed elsewhere.
It did not take long before a matching profile was found on Xvideos.
The humour escalated fast. One user joked, “With great power comes great responsibility… and apparently spiderkash,” turning it into a full blown Spider Man meme trend.
Another wrote, “SPIDERKASH is insane, I can’t believe this is real,” while someone else added, “This is the funniest leak I’ve seen in years.”
A widely shared post simply read, “Everyone calling him spiderkash from now on,” and that prediction seemed to come true almost instantly.
