
A Flint Water Department employee was found dead under suspicious circumstances earlier this week.
Matthew McFarland, 43, was found dead at his home in Otter Lake, with police and the Flint Water Department refusing to give a reason for his death amid an ‘ongoing investigation’.

There were no signs of foul play in McFarland’s death, police said. Police have not released the cause of death.
The Lapeer County Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy, but the results did not show an immediate cause of death, police said.
The examiner’s office will perform additional tests, including a toxicology report, to determine the cause of death.
McFarland was an employee at the Flint Water Department.
His death remains under investigation.
