During an unhinged rant reacting to the fatal shooting of a woman by an ICE officer in Minnesota, Kimmel held up a red T-shirt emblazoned with the words “Donald J. Trump is gonna kill you” — a move that stunned even longtime viewers and ignited outrage online.
The segment followed Trump’s defense of the ICE agent involved in the incident, which federal officials described as an act of self-defense during an enforcement operation. Kimmel flatly rejected that explanation, telling his audience the shooting was unjustified and implying that Trump wants to slaughter Americans who object to his policies.
