Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Evangelical Christian Zionist leaders in Washington D.C. on Wednesday and ordered them to “fight, fight, fight” against Americans who oppose sending Americans to die for Israel in Middle East wars of aggression.
The same day Netanyahu also rejected the claim Israel is attempting to influence Americans to keep fighting.
Netanyahu thanked his loyal supporters within the American Evangelical Zionist community and urged them to “Stand up, fight back” against Americans who oppose sending their taxpayer dollars to support the Greater Israel project.

“We’re descendants from the original Hebrews of the Holy Land. And we are the first part of that Judeo-Christian heritage, which we cherish and which has given the world, the civilization, freedom and faith,” he said. “And, again, we have to stand up and defend it. It’s under attack from the rising tide of antisemitism and anti-Evangelicalism. It’s not accidental that the two are coming under a joint attack, because we are one.”

The same day Netanyahu urged American Christian Zionists to continue fighting, he also denounced a claim by Vice President JD Vance that Israel is trying to influence Americans to keep fighting.
“Well we’re not, actually,” Netanyahu said in response to being asked about JD Vance’s claim that Israeli officials are working to keep the U.S. in the Iran war.
Vance recently made the claim that people within the Israeli government seek to shift American policy toward continuing the Iran war and away from peace negotiations.
“I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there have been people within the Israeli government who are trying to actually shift us away from that policy because they want to continue the military campaign,” Vance said.
“There are some people within their system, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt, who are manipulating and trying to change American public opinion to keep the war going on indefinitely.”
