A diver from Hawaii is causing a sensation after uploading a video of horrific (and it is GROSS) damage done to his body after being attacked by a tiger shark. The man was spearfishing when the attack happened.
From GrindTV.com:
John Braxton, a 27-year-old diver from Kapaau on Hawaii’s Big Island, was spearfishing roughly 60 yards off Upolu Point in North Kohala when authorities claim he was attacked by what is believed to have been a 13-foot tiger shark.

Following the attack, Braxton was able to swim to shore and alert his diving partner, who called emergency crews, which responded to the call at 3:52 p.m. local Hawaiian time Sunday.
While being transported to a local hospital for treatment, Braxton uploaded the video, and almost immediately felt the support of both the local Hawaiian community and the international surf community online:
Beaches were not closed following the attack because of its remote location, and authorities noted that the water where Braxton was attacked was extremely murky following flash flooding — conditions officials say heighten the chances of shark attacks.
Braxton was airlifted to a hospital for surgery. His condition is not immediately known.
