Trump gets ready to declassify Carter Page FISA documents

President Trump has warned he is “seriously” considering declassifying the Carter Page FISA docs and other relevant Russia records.

In a move likely to rattle Democrats and with the backing of newly appointed interim AG Matthew Whitaker, Trump says the release of the FISA documents will prove that the Obama administration illegally wiretapped his campaign in 2016 in order to attempt to rig the election.

“We’re looking at that very seriously, declassification very seriously,” said Trump. “It’s amazing how people on the other side just don’t want those documents declassified…we’re looking at that very carefully. I certainly wanted to wait until after the midterm.”

Thegatewaypundit.com reports: In mid-September, President Trump issued an immediate declassification order of the Carter Page FISA docs and other pertinent Russia records.

The White House also directed the DOJ to release publicly all text messages from James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Bruce Ohr.

The President ultimately caved to pressure and decided to hold off on his declassification order–until now.

Investigative reporter Sara Carter said the Carter Page FISA docs would expose extensive evidence of abuse by the DOJ and FBI:

Congressional members, some whom have clearance to see the documents, say “no sources or methods” would be exposed if they were declassified, but that they believe it would expose extensive evidence of abuse by the bureau on the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

According to House Intel Chairman Devin Nunes there is exculpatory evidence in the 20 redacted pages of the FISA docs.

The President must declassify all Carter Page FISA docs and pertinent Russia records before the Dems officially take over the House in January.
