President Putin has warned that a NATO blockade of Kaliningrad would result in a “full-scale armed conflict”
The Russian leader said that any attempt at setting up a blockade of the nation’s Kaliningrad region would trigger a harsh response from the Kremlim.
Putin issued the warning while speaking from Moscow during his annual end-of-year news conference.

InfoWars reports: Answering a question about the potential of a NATO blockade of the Russian city of Kaliningrad, Putin said, “I hope this is not going to happen. If there are any threats of this nature, these threats will be destroyed. Everyone has to understand and everyone has to take into account that such actions will just lead to unseen escalation of the conflict and bring the conflict to a new level and expand it to a large-scale international conflict. Everyone has to understand this.”

The Kaliningrad region sits against the Baltic sea, nestled between Poland and Lithuania, which are both NATO members.

During the event, the Russian president also spoke out against “satanism, occult services and sorcerers” for bringing people “to darkness.”
“We need to fight against it, but do it carefully without violating human rights,” he stated.
During another portion of the end-of-year conference, Putin said NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte should stop saber-rattling about preparing for war with Russia, citing the latest U.S. National Security Strategy as not even labeling Russia an enemy.
“The United States is the key player in NATO. The United States created NATO and is its main sponsor. All the basic resources come from the United States; money, military technology, weapons, ammunition, everything comes from there. This is the foundation,” he said.
Putin went on, “In the new National Security Strategy Russia is not designated as an enemy or as a target, yet the NATO Secretary General is preparing for war with us.”
