Trump Refuses to Release Unredacted Epstein Client List Because ‘People Will Get Hurt’

President Donald Trump said he wants to release the full and unredacted Epstein client list but he’s holding back because he “doesn’t want people to get hurt.”

Speaking to Newsmax on Saturday, the president responded to a question about when the public will learn what Deputy Attorney Todd Blanche discussed with Ghislaine Maxwell during their nine-hour closed-door meeting.

“I want to release everything, I just don’t want people to get hurt,” said Trump. “First of all, the files were run by some very bad people, some very sick people, like Comey and Lisa, the whole group, you know all those people in that whole office, they ran the files for four years.”

President Trump also told Newxmax he is considering issuing a pardon to Sean “Diddy” Combs—describing the performer as “essentially half‑innocent.”

Combs was recently convicted on two federal counts of transporting individuals for prostitution, acquitted of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges. The jury deliberated for several days before returning the split verdict.

“You know, I was very friendly with him, I got a long with him great,” said Trump, while weighing the question, before stating that Combs’ critical statements made during President Trump’s first term make the decision harder.

Diddy continues to be denied bail and is awaiting sentencing on October 3. Prosecutors now expect his sentence to be substantially higher than the initially estimated 4–5 years in prison
