In a powerful new documentary, veteran journalist Jacqui Deevoy (whose work frequently appears in The Light) and Richie Brown, founder of The Diplomatic Post, unveil ‘UNSEEN: The Truth Behind Death Protocols’. This explosive film, which exposes deadly medical protocols masquerading as care pathways in UK hospitals and care homes, is now available to see.
Deevoy, a journalist of 40 years of journalism experience and producer of the acclaimed documentaries ‘A Good Death?’ (Ickonic, 2021) and ‘Playing God’ (Trailblazer, 2024), collaborates with filmmaker and podcaster Brown to uncover sinister practices. “I’ve known about these killer protocols for five years and these stories just keep on coming,” claims Deevoy. “The stories told by relatives of victims in the film are horrifying. These guidelines were never about care.”
The film reveals how medical guidelines reminiscent of the abolished Liverpool Care Pathway, include the use of potentially lethal drug combinations and covert Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders and have led to thousands upon thousands of suspicious deaths.

UNSEEN provides a platform for grieving families devastated by these protocols to share their heartbreak. “The system betrayed them,” Brown says, “and UNSEEN exposes that. These are truths the establishment wants buried. The cases aren’t isolated – the culling appears to be systemic.”

The documentary showcases raw testimonies and highlights an ongoing fight for justice. “Capturing these stories on film means they’ll never be forgotten,” states Deevoy.
Crowdfunded and produced without personal profit, Deevoy and Brown have poured their hearts into the film. “The project isn’t about making money or making anyone famous,” Brown says. “It’s about accountability and giving a voice to the previously voiceless.”
