Footage out of the capital of Iran, Tehran, reveals a mysterious flying object hovering above the city, following threats by US President Donald Trump to unleash exotic technology and destroy the entire nation.
Videos circulating online show an unidentified aircraft that appears football-shaped flying high above the city, with multi-colored lights flashing on the underside of the craft.
Posts of the videos on X by RT and “OSINTdefender” have amassed over 5.8 million views each.

“There was no confirmation from any official source about the object’s speed, altitude, distance, or size,” reports IndianExpress.com.

Speculation online theorizes the US sent the advanced next gen special military aircraft as part of a psyop intended to intimidate Iran, following President Trump’s comments over the weekend reportedly saying, “‘My question is if and when do I blow the entire nation up?”
Trump also commented the current options include: “wiping Iran out, letting them rot economically or making a deal.”
Others have shrugged off the theories, suggesting the object could be a kite, a military drone, or multiple drones.
The video comes nearly 50 years to the day after another aerial sighting took place in Tehran in September 1976.
In that incident, Iran scrambled two F-4 jets to investigate, with one losing instrumentation and radio communications as it came within 25 miles of the object.
As the second jet investigated, a small round object reportedly broke off from the main object and headed toward the jet. When the F-4 then attempted to fire on the object, its weapons systems and instruments similarly failed. Both jets safely returned to base.
