‘In a song leaked online before its completion, pop artist Madonna sings about a “new world order” referring to a secret elite society as “the truth and the light”.
The track, entitled “Illuminati”, name checks dozens of celebrities and appears to suggest that they are not truly members of the secret society, which is considered by many to still exist and have a hand in major global events.
A recent trend has emerged among ‘artists’ such as Jay Z, Beyonce, Lady GaGa, and Rihanna to reference the illuminati and use symbolism and body language commonly associated with the shadowy group. This has culminated in speculation that the Illuminati is using pop culture to slowly acclimatize people to its existence, or simply as an underhanded way of showing the world they control the entertainment industry.’
