President Trump promises that America will never be a socialist country

President Trump has ramped up his attack on the far-left wing of the Democratic party, announcing: “We will NEVER be a Socialist of Communist Country. IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY HERE, YOU CAN LEAVE!”

Trump tweeted ahead of a press conference by the “Squad” of freshmen congresswomen Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MN), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA).

Breitbart.com reports: Trump’s message repeated the major themes of his remarks to the press following a “Made in America” manufacturing summit at the White House earlier Monday.

On Sunday, he tweeted, in part, “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done.”

Trump declared in his State of the Union address in February: “America will never be a socialist country.”

    • Tell me where someone stated they did not like this country? That was asked of Martin Luther King Jr. and became more pronounced when he criticized the Vietnam war. Now there is a holiday for that person. What is that about? When there is adversity in ones life, do we abandon it or do we continue to create a resolve?

  1. The problem is that capitalism is broken from the jump. Millions without health care and hundreds of thousands living on the streets. Here are just a few social programs that are indeed the epitome of socialism: Social Security, Food on Wheels, Veteran Care, Veteran retirement funds, public schools, public roads, free emergency care, Victims of Crime, low income housing, Affordable Care Act, US Postal Service, disabilities programs, reduced transportation fees for the elderly, Transit Authority – buss, train and ride share programs, daycare for the elderly and handicap, agriculture aid (farmers aid), not for profit corporation subsidies, oil/gas subsidies, student grants, government grants, and Small Business Administration grants and loans. When government funds generated by taxation provide services to the public or to a sector of public interest, that is socialism. Federal highways is also a socialist project.

Socialism also works the other way, By printing up money which is not backed by gold that is creating huge debt that will enslave future generation. The masses pay for the few.

  2. Disagree with him on so much, but he is spot on with this. We will never be a socialist country.

  3. But what is socialism to a repuke? Having even the basic amenities, services, and programs to go with the taxes we already pay? Imagine what we could do without the military draining billions upon billions.
