During a heated exchange on CNN’s “Native Land Pod,” co-host Tiffany Cross left her colleagues reeling this week, shamelessly declaring “America was never great” as they unpacked the explosive alleged leak of Trump administration war plans.
Speaking to conservative commentator Scott Jennings, Cross said, “As a patriot Scott, I find it really troubling – because they ran on this whole idea of this pseudo-patriotism, this regressive masculine patriotism – yet, everything they’re doing runs against ‘making America great.’ It was never great, so I’m not going to say the ‘again’ part, but ‘making America great.’”
When other hosts responded by telling Cross, “I’m sorry you feel that way. I’m sorry you feel that America is not great,” she doubled down:
