ADL’s Greenblatt Orders FBI to Monitor Social Media and Bank Accounts of Americans Who Criticize Israel

Fact checked by The People's Voice Community

Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), has openly boasted about enlisting the FBI to monitor the social media and bank accounts of U.S. citizens who dare to criticize Israel.

Speaking at a recent event at Sinai Temple in Los Angeles, Greenblatt laid bare what many have long suspected: a shadowy network of surveillance that reaches into social media, messaging apps, video games, cryptocurrency transactions, podcasts, Wikipedia edits, and even large language models.

“We monitor them online, social media, messaging apps, video games, crypto currency, podcasts, Wikipedia, LLMs…” Greenblatt declared. “I have 40 analysts working full-time 7 days a week, 24 hours a day monitoring extremists.”

But the most alarming part? Greenblatt explicitly tied this surveillance to cooperation with the FBI, stating that the ADL shares this intelligence directly with federal authorities.

The message is clear: criticize Israel, question Jewish influence, or speak out against Zionist policies, and you could find yourself under the watchful eye of the federal government.

Even more chilling are the viral claims circulating that Greenblatt threatened to “monitor social media and check your bank accounts.”

This aligns with his broader statements about comprehensive digital monitoring—including cryptocurrency and financial platforms—raising fears of financial blacklisting for political speech.

From “Anti-Hate” to Thought Police?

The ADL, originally founded to combat antisemitism, has under Greenblatt’s leadership transformed into what critics call a de facto censorship and intelligence arm for pro-Israel interests.

Greenblatt proudly described how ADL complaints are instantly fed into AI systems to identify “litigation opportunities,” then passed to a network of 50,000 pro bono lawyers ready to sue anyone deemed an “extremist.”

This Is Hostile Occupation

Let’s call it what it is: hostile occupation of American free speech. A private organization with no democratic mandate is partnering with federal law enforcement to monitor, intimidate, and potentially punish citizens for their political opinions. This isn’t about fighting “hate”—it’s about enforcing ideological conformity on behalf of a foreign government.

When a foreign power’s lobby can boast about having 40 analysts working around the clock to spy on Americans, and when that lobby openly collaborates with the FBI to share dossiers on critics, we are no longer living in a free republic. We are living under a soft occupation where dissent is treated as a security threat.
