European Commission: New EU Anti-Terror Plan To Sweep Europe

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said on Thursday that a new EU anti-terrorism plan is on its way.

He said “We will soon unveil a new anti-terrorism plan of action that will boost cooperation between Europol and national intelligence agencies“. reports:

“I am also thinking of improvements to the Schengen accord (that created Europe’s passport-free zone) to make it more efficient”.

His statement came the day after a suspected Islamist commando stormed the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo satirical weekly, gunning down 12 people including four of France’s top cartoonists and two policemen.
