Harris-Walz Campaign Exposed for Using Paid Actors as ‘Former Trump Voters’ in Misleading Ad

The Harris-Walz presidential campaign is facing backlash after being exposed for using two paid actors to pose as former Pennsylvania farmers and Trump voters who had supposedly switched their support to Kamala Harris.

The actors, Robert Lang and Christina Chadwick, were presented as disillusioned Trump supporters who changed sides after the events of January 6.

However, it has been revealed that both Lang and Chadwick are not only professional actors but also long-time Democrat donors with a history of donating to the Democrats and left-wing causes.

Critics are accusing the campaign of deliberately spreading misinformation. The incident has sparked outrage, especially given the Democratic Party’s frequent warnings about the dangers of disinformation.

Sky News Australia host commented on the irony: “For a party that talks about the dangers of misinformation and disinformation, they engage in plenty of it.”

Sky News contributor Kosha Gada praised the investigative journalism that uncovered the actors’ true identities, calling it “another illustration of a very synthetic campaign by a very synthetic candidate.”

Gada went on to describe how the Harris campaign has carefully crafted an inauthentic image, pointing to the selection of Harris as the Democratic candidate and the controlled nature of her campaign.

“Everything is manufactured,” she said, referring to the staged nature of the narrative created around the actors.

The revelation raises questions about how such stories will be covered by mainstream media, which has generally been favorable to Harris.

Gada remarked, “To the extent it does, I think things like this are very damaging for her. It goes to that point that she’s not a very authentic candidate.”
